Seesaw is very compatible with several different apps. In this app smash, I created a book talk in ChatterPix Kids and then saved my creation to the camera roll. Then in Seesaw, I simply clicked on the camera roll to post my ChatterPix Kids book talk! Click here to see my project. This would be a very simple and highly engaging way to inspire your students to try reading new books. Your students can post their ChatterPix Kids book talks to your Seesaw blog, connect with another classroom, and then have a wealth of book recommendations created by students right at their fingertips. ChatterPix Kids is an easy way to bring inanimate objects to life. I can think of hundreds of ways to apply this app to your classroom. Seesaw is hands down the ultimate anything-you-can-do-I-can-do-better app. Just ask Mrs. Bshara! Second graders in her literacy classroom are getting hands-on, individualized, differentiated instruction thanks to their teacher's fabulous decision to use Seesaw for sight word practice. Mrs. Bshara's students simply log in to Seesaw and then BAM! right there is a personalized video of Mrs. Bshara reading their sight word cards that they need to practice. The students can easily read the words and follow along with the comforting voice of their teacher instructing them on how to read each one! To take it a step further, each student can create a video in Seesaw of themselves reading their sight words and using them in sentences. With the help of Seesaw, Mrs. Bshara, support staff, and her students' parents can immediately see the progress her students are making with mastering their sight words. Are you using Seesaw? How so? If you'd like some support in setting up this amazingly versatile and simple to use app, email me to set up an appointment! You will be blown away by how many different and useful ways you can apply Seesaw to your classroom routines.
