Recently, I've been working on helping teachers give students voice with some amazing app smashes. In fourth grade, students designed a Buncee to use as a background for their American Revolution projects. They recorded themselves reading their reports and then we used Green Screen by Do Ink! to overlay their recording onto their Buncee. In second grade, we used PicCollage Kids to show off the students' monster drawings. We recorded the students reading their monster poem and then used Green Screen by Do Ink! to overlay their recording onto their PicCollage Kids creation. I imported their projects into Seesaw and then created a Padlet to share their work in one easy-to-acess spot. Click here to see the American Revolution projects and here to see the monster poems. The final projects are awesome and the students just love watching each other's presentations. Be sure to email me if you have any project ideas that you're looking to enhance with technology. I'm always happy to assist!
